| Comment | I've worked up there a fair bit up until lockdown and it's improved vastly in the last 10-15 years. It's still a bit rough, theres lots of folk about that are living day to day and a few sketchy characters about. There's still a real sense of community up there which is unusual in this day and age, there's a reasonable immigrant population which is changing the demographic and the main street is a pretty vibrant place. It's nowhere near as bad as it used to be and it is changing, but it can still be fairly grim at times. |
