I recently moved to Cambuslang and I am slowly exploring. The Cambuslang park is pretty nice as well, and the Dechmont hill gives some nice views. Reedlees park is also interesting.
Then there is plenty of nice walks along the river, ruins of Blantyre Priory are pretty cool place (across the water from Bothwell castle).
