Been trying to counteract with shaming people into wearing their masks properly by loudly saying "mate your masks squint". Have had ~50% success rate, 25% gormless "I know mate" or "my glasses stream up" (to a glasses wearer clearly sucking it up) and another quarter aggression or petulance. That's when I genuinely lose hope of us ever getting out of this.
