I think the lack of effect they were having as well as being branded by derogatory terms by the press/politicians didn’t help the cause either.
I can guarantee that you and your neighbours will overlap politically. They’ll be pro liberty on some aspects but unlikely you’ll connect with them using those labels.
Don’t engage with people on absolutes and the abstract, talk about real concerns which will be more relatable. Eg isn’t it shite the council don’t empty the bins, wouldn’t it be good if we were able hold them more accountable. |
