2. society provides incentives and opportunities to buy throwaway goods and, throw them away
3. "tidy" places/countries generate the same amount of mess, they are just better at concealing it
4. It's mainly young kids doing it, I live beside a "good " school and they drop litter all over the place- its their own act of personal rebellion
5. throwing your shit around is human nature- a baby does it, so does a hunter-gatherer tribe- they just dont necessarily have access to plastic bottles and mcd's
