| Comment | My gran was in the process of being diagnosed with cancer and starting treatment at the start of lockdown. Despite having a terminal prognosis she was given many, many treatments and I truly believe she was given the chance to live as long as possible.
When she went for her first treatment the oncologist that day told her was lucky she was in Scotland as in London they had now stopped all cancer treatments due to being overwhelmed. I can only imagine how heartbreaking that must have been for the patients and their families. |
