Comment | Street valium has largely been completely replaced by etizolam which started as a legal high and flooded the market completely. It went from "street valium" usually being blue or yellow tablets that were often prescription medication sold on to being cheaper, unregulated pulls going for about 40p each. Can't even count the number of deaths I've been to that were caused by etizolam.
The economy, cuts targeting the poorest and many other factors could be at play, but etizolam started appearing in 2012 and I'd say plays by far the biggest factor in our current drugs deaths rate. |
