Glasgow is a city like any other. Good bits and bad bit, good people and arseholes. As it's on the West coast it tends to be a bit warmer and wetter than Edinburgh.

Glasgow is large enough to attract plenty of performers, arts and the like. Whatever you are into Glasgow should be able to provide.

As for housing, that all depends. Yes, you can get a 3 bed in greater Glasgow for £90k. Would you want to live there? That depends greatly on what you are used to and why you want to move.
