You need to update your thinking on marketing.
Marketing is part of Strathclyde’s excellent business school and is higher on rankings than Glasgow. It’s currently 3rd on the U.K. rankings and Glasgow is nowhere to be seen.
I’m also a ‘hiring manager’ - although would never call myself that - for a major FS firm in Glasgow and have done lots of assessment centres and final interviews for grads over the last 5 years. Frankly I don’t even pay attention to where people go to uni or what they study. Their performance at interview has been a far better indicator than which uni they went to. |
