| Comment | Was it a legitimate courier?
All I can think is that they're the fake courier, or working with someone posing as a courier.
Maybe hoping that you're gullible enough to hand over the item to someone in a high viz with a van who looks legitimate, even if they haven't paid you yet.
Or they transfer you the courier money and possibly the item payment then courier asks/demands cash from you, you pay them and hand over the item, and they withdraw their PayPal payment. While you call up a fake courier number and they try to scam you again.
The fact that it is so convoluted looks like they're trying to use some kind of distraction tactics.
Or they could just be a really difficult genuine person, alarm bells and red flags all over it though. They're up to something. |
