| Comment | The reason it doesn't come up during trials, is because vaccine trials specifically don't allow people with serious allergies into them, this is true of all medicine trials in fact.
Lots of people have allergic reactions to very common medications (the flu vaccine, nurofen and penecillin are three examples I personally know of!)
