As someone who used to work for "Pizza Hut", don't go there. Southside, "Curious Liquids" or "Oro" are probably the best pizza. I think there's some place on Vicky Road too, but name escapes me just now. "Stefano's" is good too, but I dunno about veggie.
As for veggie, Indian is often a good shout and the "Indian on Skirving Street" is all kinds of awesome.
