My taxi insurance requires me to report involvement in an accident within 24 hours of it happening (even if it's a no-fault incident). If I don't report it within the first 24 hours, and instead wait a week until I have my quotes from repairers then there's a chance the insurer won't pay out by saying the terms and conditions were not followed to the letter. |
