| Comment | Off at Banknock would be okay. The worst part of the M80 is the stretch between J3 and J6A, as there is tons of traffic trying to get on from the seemingly huge amount of junctions in Scumbernauld.
I used to frequently drive to Inverness from Bishopbriggs, typically leaving at 6am. If I went through Kirky, Kilsyth and then off at Banknock, I would fly up the road. If I took the M80, I would get stuck in traffic every single time, even at 6.15am. If you leave dead early, you'll miss it and the M80 is fine.
