just remember your ability to get back to life as normal is not necessarily dependent on getting the vaccine; if it's effective in reducing transmission (and all signs so far point to yes) then it will suppress Covid well before that - we can't estimate accurately yet, but it may be that life as normal returns when e.g. 50% of the population has been vaccinated
