100% agree. I am a US and UK citizen and have spent about half my life in each and while I have a lot of love for people in the US and there are genuinely good things there that place overall is pretty fucked and is not at all a place to emulate. Unfortunately the politics here look more and more like there everyday. I suppose it will be largely the same individuals and organisation leveraging these divisions both here and in the US so it makes sense it would follow a similar trajectory. |
