I'll agree it's a bit better than white bread, but it's still not doing them any, or much good.
There are also other issues:
"What the ducks don’t eat decays in the water, encouraging bacteria and algae which can poison ducks and other creatures making the water their home. Waste bread also attracts vermin such as rats."
It would be fine if it was 1 in 10 people feeding them a bit of bread, but it tends to be most people in most places, and sometimes people are disposing of half a loaf.
If you can give them something other than bread, it's definitely better for the ducks |
