| Comment | I agree with everyone else but I'm biased about Glasgow. Glasgow is compact and easy to do on foot. It's very like Canada and you don't need to go far for stunning scenery.
Europe is a short flight away to explore places like Paris, London, Amsterdam etc.
Paris is massive and so spread out. Its beautiful to see but definitely need to use public transport to cross the city.
Weather is much the same in the 2 cities.
