| Comment | I'd just like to add that, in my opinion, some people are really over exaggerating how bad the weather is here. Granted I've lived here all my life.
In Winter it gets dark quite early (4PM-ish) and there's a lot of rain and wind (particularly Dec-March). Despite this, it usually isn't that cold due to the Gulf Stream and it will **never** get as cold here as it does in Ottawa in Winter. May and June are generally *fairly* dry, sunny and hot. And Glasgow in the sunshine is unbeatable.
It rains quite a lot year round (except May and June) but a lot of the time it's usually just light drizzle.
It's all down to personal opinion but I definitely don't agree with the people who are making it out like the weather is catastrophically bad. |
