Personally I'd have avoided the closing date, they're a bit of a ruse by estate agents. Better IMHO to make a solid, time-limited offer with the stipulation that the property is taken off the market immediately. This can work really well if you have a mortgage (or cash) ready and no chain.
In your case there is the bugling wall issue. I'd suggest visiting again and speaking to neighbours, but COVID. Can you call the factors and ask them? |
