Hmmm, forgot about it. So I could make an offer pending on the outcomes of a structural survey? I'm still not sure if that makes sense for me financially seeing as the internet claims those surveys can cost more than a grand and this is a £65k flat. If it does show something iffy that's a huge chunk of my savings gone. Also, wouldn't the survey need access to the neighbour's flat on the other side of the wall and/or some destructive testing done (drilling etc?)

Yeah that's tricky. I've done some neighbour research and apparently only two flats there are occupied by the owners but I don't know which ones those are.
