| Comment | Govanhill, Tollcross, Yoker/Clydebank kind of area. Tenements in the nicer areas are well pricey and always rising but if you broaden your mind beyond tenements you could find a place in budget a lot easier. Tenements are nice but there are downsides like often single glazed, thin floors if your neighbours are noisy, exspensive for major building work.
Just find areas you like, I've made the mistake of nice flat bad area and it isn't worth it. |
