Shettleston dweller here. Gets a bad name but I actually like it. Buses & trains go continually. Direct link to Edinburgh and all the way to Balloch. Tesco, aldi all within walking distance. Shettleston Road has some good wee shops and cafes.
The natives are what they are but have never had problems in the few years we've been here!
