| Comment | If you can't get the permagrips from Timpsons, the next best thing that's fairly cheap are a pair of old surplus German para boots. The mk IV is pretty good. Aye, you can still slip but they give much more grip before they let go compared to trainers, Cat boots, wellies etc.
