For future reference, responding to "I want to hear from people who live there" with "I don't live there, but", or similar, shows you as the guy no-one wants to talk to because he just can't help sticking his oar in even when he has no idea what the conversation is about.
Your sense of self-importance has outweighed your reading comprehension, and acting like it's all someone else's problem if they point it out doesn't make you look smart or clever, it makes you look rather sad and inadequate. Next time no-one asks for your opinion - or (as is the case here) specifically asks for opinions that do not include yours - try just not saying anything. Remember the old adage: "better to stay silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt". |
