Speaking as an NHS doctor, I've never seen anyone die from covid who's adhered entirely to guidelines. I've seen tens of people die because their families have "pretty much" stuck by the rules. I can absolutely visualise these skaters speaking to doctors in A&E and claiming that their mild indescretions could never lead to a vulnerable person contracting the virus.
