I think it's also that we've got 40k+ subscribers, almost none of who contribute but will happily upvote every fucking photo of the Clyde they see when it passes their frontpage. That's why the rule exists, even though it upsets folk when a photo they've thought was worth sharing gets removed. Regular posters shouldn't have to see 3 photos of the squinty bridge every day, or Glasgow uni just because the silent masses would upvote literally anything that's Glasgow related. |
