Yes, he said that. He said he did not check it was watertight because he put the silicone which needs to wait 36 hours so he couldnt test the pan. But now that you said it, once the shower pan is in place (which he did the first day) he could had put some water through the drain to see it drains OK. He said it's the fault of the people who sold the part to us.

I made it up myself. But yesterday when he came and said you need to do a hole in the kitchen's floor (is below the shower), do the repair, plaster the hole and repaint probably all the ceiling so it doesn't look dodgy. I'd say that's maybe between 500 to 1000, but I have no idea.

yeah he's been fully paid.
