I've been having this issue for a while and paid for higher speeds this time only to still get 30mb. Complained, an engineer came out (with the agreement if the fault was something I'd caused I'd be charged 65 quid), he switched something in a cupboard I don't have access too and within 2 hours I was getting 70mb. Worth bearing in mind, if you've been paying for better speeds than your agreed minimum.
Edit: forgot the actual relevant bit - my signal kept dropping when I was in the room not next to the router. Whatever the engineer did (something about swapping cables or frequencies? He had a mask and I'm deaf) has sorted this out. TL:DR - ask for an engineer to take a look. |
