If Virgin is available in your area get that. If not, you should be able to get fibre (to the cabinet) in Finnieston and therefore all the providers will give you the same service and the only difference will be the equipment they provide.
FTTC should give speeds up to 70mb which is fast enough for multiple people to be streaming and gaming at the same time.
