Awesome idea! You would be surprised how cheap and easy is to cook a delicious duck: Morrisons and Tesco (e.g.) sell frozen duck. Salt brine is the day before, fill with garlic and orange and seasons, oven cook at 150C in the oven for 2-3h (I think more or less, I use a meat thermometer) and is delicious. Any potatoes or veggies with the duck fat become awesome.
