When I lived in a tenement flat we had wheelie bins. Some residents put the wrong stuff in bins like general in food. The bin men told me they would not take these bins as they were contaminated. Some bins sat for months till I went and fixed them.
I then moved to a house so have my own bin. If collection is missed I find contacting the GCC twitter or app on the day after generally works. If I leave it a few days they just ignore requests till the next date. |
