| Comment | I honestly hate it but everyone's experience is different depending on where you live, your financial situation etc etc. I've lived all over from West end to Ruchazie (proper shite hole) and I didn't like either. The only reason I'm back is because of this pandemic. We have lots of nice parks, close to Loch Lomond and the trossach which is about the best I can say.
If you want to get a feel for the type of people in this city, check out the comments on any of the local news pages on Facebook. Lots of casual racism, sectarianism, anti-intellectualism, nationalism, passive aggression and intolerance to anything that's not considered normal. It's got a kind of small town backwardsness about it.
You on the other hand might love it here, it all depends on what you seek. |
