i see. we were walking on a split path (half pavement/half cycle lane, that joins back up to a pavement) so the cycle lane is fairly narrow. we were not standing about, we were walking across it to get to the pavement leading to the traffic lights. we were just a little slower because sometimes chronic health problems take their toll.
