| Comment | Yeah, it’s a minefield for sure. You only really get a proper sense of how good the landlord or agent is AFTER moving in haha, so it’s hard to know who to trust. I’d probably be wary of paying a holding deposit to a private landlord, I think it would massively depend on what kind of vibe I’d get from them (which of course is not in any way a reliable accurate representation of what kind of a person they are, necessarily). |
