| Comment | I disagree - if you were to walk away from every landlord/agency doing this you wouldn’t rent anything in the city. The only thing to remember is that if you decide not to go ahead or if your references or credit check are not satisfactory resulting in you not getting the property, you are supposed to get that holding deposit back in full, it’s illegal to deduct from it. |
