I’m currently with a very good letting agency who did ask me for a holding deposit too. Never had a problem with them, they’re fully legit and probably the best agent I’ve ever had.
I would challenge you to finding a flat where the landlord or agent doesn’t ask for a holding deposit - I am very experienced in flat hunting and I always had to put one down. |
