No it's not allowed, no 'most people' are not doing it, and no 'most people' are not ignoring lockdown restrictions.

You assumed wrong. Stay within 5 miles of the Glasgow City boundary. This isn't just about the risk of you being in contact with other people while out riding, it's also that if you have an accident or need assistance, you're putting pressure on more rural resources and putting workers there at increased risk.

It sounds like you know what the restrictions are, you just want excuses to ignore them.
