I used to work in a nice enough area (round the corner from Jubilee Square) but gradually things got worse and by the time we left, in 2017, there were homeless people pretty much every other step.
I'd lived there since University in 1994, with a couple of years away when I was in London, and the difference after the Tories got into power was staggering. |
