| Comment | It's kind of between Hamilton and Blantyre. The public transport to the campus has hopefully improved in recent years but I suspect it still won't be great.
I grew up slightly further out (Larkhall direction), do not be tempted to move to Larkhall, Stonehouse, Glassford, Lesmahagow, Kirkmuirhill or similar no matter how cheap it is. The public transport is dire and you will be horrendously isolated.
How hands on is the course? Will you be on placement and in class a lot (if that's even possible?). Is moving into halls an option? That's a better bet for meeting folk and not ending up on your own. |
