My wife was diagnosed with a terminal illness in November. We don't know how long she has left, could be months, could be years. We're assuming the latter and making the best of it.

Her diagnosis and subsequent treatment have been largely unaffected by COVID as the restrictions have allowed medical services to continue. Swift diagnosis and unfettered access to treatment are key factors in prolonging her life.

It's so vitally important that we adhere to the restrictions to allow the NHS to do its job. Thousands of people's lives depend on it, those affected by COVID and otherwise.
