Comment | It depends why you couldn't wield the saw though whether it's fair to dismiss or not. If you can't wield a saw because the one your employer gave you doesn't have a blade on it then that's not your fault. Similarly, if you can't wield a saw because you've lost an arm, there's other appropriate processes the organisation should follow.
I wonder if there is an unfair dismissal claim looming with this or if it is even possible. It sounds like a bit of age discrimination in there. |
