Comment | I think you’ve missed the crux of what I’m saying - avoid blocks with social tenants or very cheap privately rented flats as these are the worst maintained. That still gives you massive scope to buy a tenement elsewhere in Glasgow. Practically anywhere in fact.
I used the Partick in the West End as an example, because on a sliding scale, there’s less of the type of flats you want to avoid there - there’s plenty of good tenements in cheaper areas, you’ll have to do more homework on who owns the flats in the block, condition of the building etc.
I don’t live in the West End and I own a tenement so your point is kind of moot. I feel like you’ve turned your comment in to some sort of statement of classism regards the fact I mentioned the West End when I don’t even live there 🤷 |
