| Comment | I'm guessing here, but I think they would do it similar to how the electrical safety reports are done. An electrician doing an inspection won't open up every single light switch and socket when doing the visual checks. If there are 10 sockets he will check, say, 3 at random and then mark on the certificate that a 30% sampling was conducted.
Similarly, a survey won't look at 100% of the joists. They will look at what they can. Maybe lift a few floor boards to manage a look at a percentage of the joists. |
