Inside the GCC limits they tend to be okay, but out here in Airdrie etc there are massive areas of housing with one wee daft shop and a pub, and that's it. We have this mad desire to live on our own tiny wee bit of ground, even if that means living in a shoebox with no cultural or social life to speak of. It really depresses me after living in a bustling city in Asia. |
