“To help encourage recycling we are collecting your bins less often” - the biggest thing preventing me recycling is the fact that 1. The recycling bins are always overflowing and 2. GCC don’t accept a massive amount of widely recycled products (yogurt pots for example).
Routinely, I throw full bins full of recycling in the green bin because my blue bin is never collected. That’ll be where your 60% figure comes from.
