Is the woman elderly? You’d be surprised how many people receive things by accident e.g. prescription meds, parcels; and refuse to hand them back, sometimes it’s because they have dementia. That can make them act in very unreasonable ways. If it turns out she has relatives in the same building, or if she has a carer who visits, it might be possible to ask them to intervene.

Hopefully that’s not the case and the courier service just hasn’t delivered your parcel yet. I had ordered a fridge from Currys a few week ago. They phoned on the day of delivery but never showed up, claiming there was no answer at the address. Since this was the city centre, I suspect they just couldn’t find their way and headed back!
