| Comment | I went with Hamilton Town House, a registry office do. Did take our own two witnesses, but the council staff were stupidly excited at a "secret" wedding and said they could have got their colleagues to do it. No package deal, tiny ceremony, just paid for the paperwork and room for the hour or whatever it took (hubbie says about £250 quid). Own CD for the background music, they provided suggested vows, and were very very helpful. Nice big sandstoney building, so I wore my velvet cloak, as a sad old semi-ex-goth ;) |
