I got mine through a private landlord. I didn't bother with agencies as they are mostly crap. Maybe others have had good experiences.
My friend let's out his flat and he does it through Gumtree. You could have a look there.
It when you are out for your daily walk/drive, photograph any suitable places with a to let sign, and then follow it up. These will probably be agencies though.
