Have you walked around the centre recently?! Buchanan Street aside, it's a fucking shitehole. Graffiti, empty shops, graffiti, litter, graffiti, aggressive beggars, graffiti, etc. The place was already looking good in 1999, but it has declined drastically in the last five/six years, especially compared to how it looked when all tarted up for the Commonwealth Games. Even the West End is shabby as fuck. Graffiti everywhere.
I never thought I'd see it revert back to looking like a Raymond Depardon photo. Although they've got considerably less graffiti. |
